Mission

We are committed to mould minds of children between the ages of 2 ½ to 6 years in pursuit of knowledge and to prepare them for formal education in primary schools, national type as well as Mandarin medium schools.

Approaches & Techniques

Tadika Diyana provides holistic, warm and conducive environment to inculcate enjoyable learning experiences to pre-school children with the aim of giving them strong foundation of good character, and a head start for their subsequent education and development.

Below 4 years old - Tadika Diyana provides these little children, particularly those who have not been to school before, a solid foundation in education. Runs with love and understanding in education, a pleasant environment, up-to-date facilities, the kindergarten follows Thematic Approach guided by Montessori methods, the proven curriculum comprising the best of early learning approaches, encourage and build their motor skills, language, social, culture, logical and mathematical development. These methods provide an education for life and give children the freedom to choose and explore their interests at their own pace.

For 4 years old - Tadika Diyana adopts Thematic Approach, a balanced, systematic and stimulating curriculum which builds academic excellence, moral and cultural awareness as well as social graces’ skills. It emphasizes a lot on ‘hands on experience’ activities for them to pursue their own interest and to develop and utilize their curiosity, creativity, resourcefulness, independence, initiative and responsibility.

For 5 & 6 years old - Tadika Diyana applies National Pre-School Curriculum and Thematic Approach. Lessons are individually planned to accommodate a wide range of children’s development levels and needs. An opportunity created for all children to reach their highest level of development adopting curriculum and teaching strategies that are cognitively challenging. There are hands-on, multi-sensory learning with a combination of explicit, teacher-directed instruction and child-directed, child-generated learning experiences. Social and emotional development of children is cultivated.

Full Mandarin Session is available during the afternoon.

Involving the Parents

Parental involvement books allow parents to comment on their children’s progress with weekend exercises. Parents are regularly updated on their children’s development; school work is compiled into a portfolio at the end of the year.

Extra Curricular Activities

Extra Curricular Activities include lunch program, child care, Agama, English enrichment class, Bahasa Melayu bacaan class, handicraft, mini-tennis, kid’s yoga, ballet, wushu, choir & choral, mini golf, mental arithmetic, modern dance, character development, children technology workshop, international chess class, science workshop, art as well as mini badminton.

Conclusion

With over 500 students, classes are still kept small to provide individual attention. Our highly qualified selection of teachers use an integrated teaching method; combining storytelling, discussion, art, music, pictures and other stimulating activities to encourage the children to learn. Children absorb knowledge differently and with the combinations of various teaching methods available at Tadika Diyana, it helps create a stronger interest for learning.
